I was hired by the founder of Dagmar Studios to come up with a brand design to launch the company in 2018. The West Coast-based studio is conversational and friendly yet professional and to the point and wanted these attitudes to reflect in their brand design. I chose friendly typefaces and created shapes from the founder’s original photography and set them in a feminine-neutral color story to bring humanity and approchability to a very techy industry.

As part of the strategy to develop a friendly aesthetic the “blobs” were created using shapes created by the studio owner’s original photography and were used to make backgrounds, favicons, and illustrations.
